A Touch of Wine

I hope you enjoyed my last post on my typical winter outfit. So for this outfit, I thought I would show you a dressier side of me in the winter. The jacket is going to be the focal point of this outfit. I cannot get enough of this coat! It is such a beauty in my eyes, and I can see it being a staple in my closet for many years to come. The details on this coat are just immaculate! I appreciate how the sleeves are black because it not only functions to break apart the burgundy/wine section of the coat, but it also helps to draw the eyes to the burgundy color of the coat. I love the faux leather detail on the shoulders, which gives the coat a more structured look, and the belt to cinch the waist. My favorite part of the coat, besides the color, are the buttons. I absolutely love the gold rim on the outside of the button, and its contrast with the glossy black center!

This feathered grey, sleeveless, A-lined dress was paired with a fitted, long sleeve black shirt and black footless leggings. Around my neck, I have a burgundy scarf with pom-poms stitched along the side. To further blend with the pom-pom detail, I decided to wear my grey winter hat.

Of course I had to finish off my look with my favorite suede booties, seen in my last post and here.

How would you style this coat, and what is your favorite type of coat?
